HOT NEWS! National legislation passed that supports HPE!
Senate passes Elementary and Secondary Education Act bill, the Every Child Achieves Act, by a vote of 81-17. This bipartisan bill includes physical education as a core subject as well as the reauthorization of the PEP grant. The bill passed the Senate with a supermajority and now moves to a conference committee where education leadership from the Senate and House will come up with a compromise bill.
