Every year North Dakota SHAPE (Society of Health and Physical Educators), formerly North Dakota Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (NDAHPERD), offers many awards to recognize some of the amazing Health Educators and Physical Educators in North Dakota. ND SHAPE would like to ask you to consider submitting your great teachers for one of the awards that are available. To be eligible for an award, a teacher will need to be a ND SHAPE member. Membership is easy to obtain and can be done on our website at www.ndshape.org .
The awards include Teacher of the Year awards, honor awards, and exemplary program awards. To nominate your teacher, please visit http://www.ndshape.org/awards-nomination/ . The teachers chosen to represent our state organization in their award category will then compete at the district level and possibly on to the national level. We would like to have a candidate for each category but we need your help! If you feel you have an outstanding teacher, please take a few moments to nominate them for an award.
